Plant Lovers Garden
This modern house on a small estate had a plain open plan lawn with no flower beds and a 'builders' path laid right up against the house.
Designing a garden for someone who
loves plants is always a pleasure, however as this was a front garden
it had to be practical and easy to
maintain. 
The drive was widened to allow cars to be parked side-by-side and allow easy access.
A brick edged gravel path leads you from
the driveway to the front door, sweeping
on beyond the bay window past flower
beds filled with seasonal shrubs and
herbaceous planting.
Natural sandstone was used for the paving around the front door and continues through the gravel path to add interest at ground level.
