Client Brief
To design a garden that would be in keeping with the period of the cottage, to add more visual interest and create a space that would be used as well as looked at.

The lawn was replaced with natural stone paths leading to a central circle. This not only gave the garden its structure but provided a practical route between the front door and the parking. Box edged flower beds spill over with traditional planting to soften the stonework.









Courtyard Garden
