Client Brief
To remove the mature shrub area and open up the front garden.
Resolve the level changes by blending the natural slope down to the pathway, reshape the flower beds to create interest and returf to match existing lawn. Introduce clean simple lines to compliment the stunning house.

Yew hedging was planted along the boundary line of the pathway to give a backdrop to the purple and lime herbaceous planting scheme. Surface drainage has been improved using Aqua cells. Modern planters have been used to dress the front door area.

Contemporary Garden
This 1970's house had undergone major structural refurbishment and updating. The front garden was dominated by a sizeable area of very mature shrubs. The area was not level and rain water collected in large puddles near the adjoining pavement.
